Cellulose is the most abundant organic polymer in nature and is renewable, biodegradable, and environmentally benign, making it an ideal platform for our Natuural Affinity Technology. In this system, a stabilized cellulosic network with strong intra- and interchain hydrogen bonding provides high adhesion and mechanical stability in both wet and dry conditions. This functionalized network efficiently delivers dyes or other active particles into organized fibrous substrates, where they are durably anchored to fiber surfaces through hydrogen and covalent bonding, as well as physical interlocking.
